On Pins and Needles

Hello Everyone. Soooo...I sent in my final approval for publishing to BookLocker. Hopefully in just a few days we can can get the ball rolling on providing links for purchasing. I really hope everyone likes the story. A wise person once told me "put your heart and soul into every word." I feel I have done that and then some. I feel it is a good story. Several other have said the same thing. I have gotten positive feedback on some of the snippets I provided from the story. I can assure you, what I provided are not the highlights. If I gave too much away, it would spoil the story. More to follow soon.

Do Your Research

  Hello everyone, So with my second book, The Jarl's Shadow at the publisher, one would think I would take some time to relax. Maybe watch movies, play video games, or even read books by other authors. No. I am already working on my third book in the trilogy, titled "The Hammer of The Bear." What do I mean by "working?" I could start freewriting to get my ideas down and go with what comes to mind, and yes, I will be doing that. However, the first thing I do before starting a new book is research. The Hammer of the Bear is based around the main character, Adnar Raynecksson. From the beginning of the trilogy in A GAME OF GODS, Adnar is the oldest of three siblings, and he is a Blacksmith by trade.  Since Blacksmithing is his chosen profession, I am researching not only how to do Blacksmithing but also what it takes to be a Blacksmith. Hello everyone! So today, I felt compelled to write about success and failure. I think these are concepts that everyone can identify with, whether you are a writer or not. What is success? How is it measured? For that matter, what is failure? So let's face it, we live in a very materialistic society. Such is the case no matter where on the planet you dwell. Success is based in terms of value. How much money do you have? How many toys do you've? How many friends? To a point, yes, having lots of money and toys and friends can be viewed as a sign of success.
